It's been a busy couple of weeks for the Vamos Brigade. Knowing how Rafa is not at his happiest on the hard courts of North America we turned out in force - admittedly only a small but very vocal force - to cheer him on across the pond.

First up was Montreal. super lala, PC, just_j and family were there and Morgane even went as far as volunteering to work on the informations stands. She was often spotted up in the nosebleed seats with her unique flag.



MAC and Carly met in person for the first time and spent a week quaffing back the gin and tonics and blogging enthusiatically. They were very ably aided and abetted by the wonderful AM who took time out to ferry them around the town to ensure that their non-Rafa moments were spent happily.

They did express some concern that their frequent presence sitting on the bleachers by the practise courts just might have prompted Rafa to consider paying them to stay away.

From a tennis point of view things were not so happy in Cincinnati.

In appalling heat and humidity cincimini, Rafadorable, lola and kalliopeia toughed out the horrors of Rafa's one match. They then hung in there for the rest of the week to snap away at his practise sessions and keep us all up to date with wonderful snippets of information on the comings and goings at the players' hotel.

Now I wouldn't say that Rafa is entirely on to us but this picture taken by cincimini would suggest that he is at least aware that the Vamos Brigade like to take the odd snap or two.
